    Hi everybody,

I just bought a VMS 70 with an SX 68 Cutterhead. Anyway I am looking for a second (reserve) cutterhead. It may be a SX 68 or an SX 74.
It can be broken, that is no problem.
If somebody has one for sale please let me know.
    Thanks a lot

Have you tried contacting Al Grundy?

Having one in reserve is definitely a great idea - just remember that the HFL and an LPF can be your very best friends!

Thanks a lot everybody for all kind reactions. I found via this SUPER forum my extra cutterhead !
If somebody reads this and still have an sx 68 or 74 you can always offer it to me.
Because having a third is always good.
Anyway I can continue cutting now !

    Cutting Head

    Hi !
Have you tryed the Vinylium SC-99 Head ?
It´s an amazing SX-74 Clone with superstrong Rare-Earth Magnets.
Really nice+perfect sounding head. I think, they use stronger and better copper for coils, so you don´t need helium cooling.
I used it 2 years now, and i´m very happy with this !!
Another point: Repair is very more cheaper than a old Neumann...
Take a look at vinylium DOT com at cutterheads section...
    Best Regards,

You might still have some parts or heads available ?
I am actually trying to restore an old Neumann cutting lathe and have some parts missing.
