how do ya get that old anolog tape pitch wobble?

how do you get that old anolog tape pitch wobble without actually using tape? i ve tried using a doppler but it doesn't have the same effect. i love the sound how do you make it?

Flanger. A flanger is the effect of placing the thumb on the tape reel and pressing down to make the tape speed up and slow down.
