Hi.
For those of you TV and Motion Picture engineers...
What are your favorite general SFX Libraries? Why?
I am too far to try them and there's so much offer... I am looking for something with great sound quality, versatility and dramatism.
My experience is Sound Ideas.
Any opinions will be greatly appreciated. |

If you don't want to buy 5000 cd's in a set just to peel off a couple sfx a day, there is a cool website that allows you to purchase and download samples a la carte. Check out Sonomic. Tell em recording.org sent ya. |

Okie, sorry it didn't work out for you. Still, you should drop them an email and let them know what you think. They seem fairly responsive to feedback. |

I'm a music guy, and always have problems like this:
We need an airplane sound effect for a track. But the sound fx on disc for an airplane are like 5 minutes long, which is sometimes longer than the song itself. Anyone got any good sources for short sounds?
www.sound-effects-library.com is the best I've seen, and has a great way of searching/demoing/purchasing sounds. |
