ok so i have a lexicon omega mixer that came with my cubase le recording program and i also have a yamaha mg12/4 mixing console and i was wondering if its possible to connect the omega with the yamaha so i can use the yamaha for the cubase program? |

Yeah it should be possible as long as you have a computer.
The manuals will explain in a lot greater detail what I can here with my short attention span. |

well i lost the lexicon omega manual but ive checked my yamahas manual and it doesnt really explain how to connect the two |

This just doesn't even make sense. Hook the Lexicon up and use that for the Cubase program.
You "could" hook up the external board but will it be of any real benefit to you? Real benefit?
Learn the Lexicon, it will be far better in the long run, even if I do not know what your situation is  |

Look and you will see. You have a mixer which is not a computer interface. You have a computer interface which is not exactly a mixer. The two work well in concert with one another. You patch your Lexicon into your mixer as if it was a two track recorder. What's so difficult about that? You monitor your Lexicon through your Yamaha mixer. Your Yamaha mixer feeds the input to your Lexicon.
