In the next few days, recording.org will once again be upgrading to an even faster server.

I've been told by RO tech support ... moments to do the switch, however, during the brief switch there could be some posts that get missed.
This will be the fastest server yet. The next time we upgrade will be adding addition servers to the chain. From a DAW system comparison... Like running a master CP for the controller and sampler CP's to run sound libraries.
The internet is getting better and better.
This should be happening this weekend. |

Tuesday, Oct 14 recording.org will be switching to the new server. The site shouldn't be down for more than a few hours.
Sorry for any inconvenience.
See you on the other side |

Boy, am I glad that got explained! Yeah, it\'s faster....
It also explains why the \"FORBIDDEN site\" came up when I tried to log in earlier today. Not a nice thing to have screaming from your monitor in the middle of a call center...a call center for a medical devices company with 85% female CSR\'s in it...it looked like I was trying to access a porn site!
Anyway, the site hauls butt and looks great! THANKS! |

I notice it now refreshes the page when you use back on the browser. I am lazy and use back all the time and now I can see the threads I\\\'ve read. Speed seems good so far. Keep up the good work.
Edit, I see what you\'re talking about with the back slash\'s. That\'s weird. |

slash issue has been resolved. The posts that already have them in there, unfortunately stay. Should be all good now.
How is the speed everyone? |

http://feeds.feedburner.com/ comes up when you click the "read more..." in the Mix News pane on the left.
The specific error is; "HTTP Status 400 - You must provide a feed uri"
Otherwise, the specific Mix links work. |
