R.O is pretty cool except 4 one thing;
An "EDIT POST/THREAD" function!
Man, sometimes I forget to dot my IIII's,cross my TTTT's,correct misspelled words and remove grammatical errors!
This would greatly assist me in not resembling a person who failed ENGLISH 101 in
Hi-School 4 years straight! Seems a lot of people don't know that this -> Image <- is the edit button. Maybe we should replace it with a red, flashing, "EDIT YOUR POST" button?

I'd like two things:
1. A "User feedback" forum. It's a good place to take up ideas for improvements.
2. A "Goto unread post" button (yeah, like on homerecording). It's really practical, so you don't have to browse through the whole thread to see what you have read already.

Hi, we have the Today's Active Topics
It tells you the latest post of the day. Very handy for members that come back to see what's been posted withing the 24 hour day. It refreshes every 24 hours.
Once your here for awhile you'll see our board/DUC/musicplayer... all ubb formats have most of HR features. They are just in different areas of the board.
Check out the FAQ for more features and answers. We have turned some options off because they drag the sites speed down or I personally like simple more than busy.
If you are coming from Homerecording they have a cookie issue that is effecting ubb boards and netscape users. It does really weird things to my system every time I go there.
Not saying that will or is happening with you but it is what started the flame war a week ago. The HR bug can be annoying if you don't recognize it. (Okay don't flame my ass for that one)hehe! Wink The less cookies the better.
Todays Active Topics is up on the to right corner of the main forum page just above the:
Registered Members Since Sept. 2000:
RO welcome's our newest member:

quote:
A "User feedback" forum. It's a good place to take up ideas for improvements.

Great idea Lennart but we had it for a long time and it just took up space, never got used. The Bar and Grille works perfect for that now.
Thanks for your suggestions!
bigtree Cool

Ah, but thats not what I'm looking for. In HR, when you eneter a thread, on top of each thread there is a button to send you toi the first unread post in that thread.
very practical.

How about you start at the beginning of a thread, read the posts contained in the thread. If you've read the lions share of a thread, then why don't you start at the bottom...move up to where you left off, then continue on from there.
If we're going to talk about significant changes...the one I would like to see is when you've done a post...it takes you back to the 'forum menu', or at least the 'list of topics' within the forum...I know what I just wrote and don't need to see the thread I just posted to...again.
May I also advise the "H-R" guys that seem to adopted this as an additional place to hang out..go to the fucking bar and get a drink already. This uptight bullshit whining shit has got to stop or I'm going through and deleting shit left, right and center Image

Don't be so QUICK to start deleting threads and crap!
Matter a fact, here have a bottle of Dom Perignon...on me!
Peace
Mr.Q

Hmmm...Crack Whore Monkey...it has such a nice ring to it...since they're not using it any more, maybe RO could change its' name...

Different things are discussed and both places are full of good information. I can not see why some people here have the attitude that just because you are active on HR.COM you are not welcome here.
