ok something a little different here...
ive been searching the net for info on conference audio systems but zilch.
just wondering if any of u guys know somewhere i should b looking or even know urself.
im specifically after how systems are set up for conferences (both the "round the table type" and seminar "crowd seating" type).
any info on speaker placement, signal processing equipment, signal flow, etc... would b great or some sites/links with this stuff would b nice. |

I may get laughed off the world for this one...but this works very nice.
4 Bose 402 (professional) speakers, two TOA A912MkII amplifiers, the Bose modules (eq for the speakers that are plug in modules for the toa amps...you will need 2 of them) Pole stands for the Bose 402 speakers, SM58 Shure microphones. The TOA amplifiers also will need input modules to connect the microphones. The M01S modules are good, but the X11S modules have compressor settings. (adjustable). The modules plug into the toa amplifiers..small circuit boards that screw in from the back..no need to remove cover. You will need a 6 space rack for the amps. 240 watts of power, adjustable gain...up to 10 modules can be used for 10 inputs if need be. The TOA amps accept 6 Modules each (channels in..but the Bose loop inserts (for Bose EQ) take up 1 slot each..hence the 10.
This system weighs less than 200 lbs, can be loaded into a small saloon and can drive the spoken voice to crouds from 5 people to 5000 with no strain of voicing problems. It is very powerful. Your cost (if you cannot get it..I can get it wholesale and ship to you) is about 3500.00 US complete. Also wireless microphones as well. The Bose/Toa situation is bulletproof. 5 year warrantees. I am impressed with this setup.
My email is audiowkstation@aol.com write me..I can point you in the direction...you will make MONEY with a system like this. Frequency response is +/- 2.5 dB from 55 to 15K |
