Hi, shopping for a small board for remote work. I'll be using this primarily for voice recording at seminars and roundtable discussions and 6 inputs should be enough for me. The Mackie 1202 and 1402 seem the logical choice. Does anyone have other suggestions in the same price range? Thanks! |

Hi George! Yea, 1202 or 1402vlzpro will be handy, for many occasions. Berringer, or a&H make some small mixers too!, I can vouch for the little mackies, our organization has purchased a bunch for small systems.
Hope this helps,
-Rick |

Hey Rick, Glad to see you're still here!
Yeah, I've rented the 1402 in the past but the rental place moved and it's really inconvenient to get there now so I thought I'd ask before buying blindly. I'll check the A&H and Berringer boards too.
Probably will buy on eBay unless a used one comes up from somewhere else.
By the way, your advice on wireless lavs was much appreciated and the remote went off without a hitch. The client is happy, I'm paid and the dupes are delivered!!! :w: |
