Hey everyone, let's give a warm RO welcome to Rick Hammang our new moderator for Audio/Video/Film Forum. Rick is presently a video producer for a large educational TV broadcast system. Rick has made hundreds of videos from special features to staff development and training. Great to have you here Rick!

Thank you Chris! Why the flippy flop on the forum? It was my fault, yep, soap box emotion. It should be Audio/Video/Film, just good technical discussion.
Look what has happened in the production industry in the last 15 years, the sound, the motion, the dynamics, and quality of video.

What do you imagine happening, in the industry, by the end of the next 15 years?

Rick - Seems kinda dumb to be saying "welcome" to a guy who's been here about 4000 members longer than I have, but WELCOME none-the-less - I'm really looking forward to your forum, as I'm just trying to add Audio4Video as I upgrade my studio to 5.1/digital/real acoustics, etc. - Before you "rolled up yer sleeves", I had asked some typical "newbie" stuff of Greg, since he was listed as doing great things in that area - Now, YOU get to be in the "barrel" - ain't you the lucky one? (Sorry, Greg, I've got a NEW friend now) :=) So, soon as I get smart enough to know which questions to ask, look out... Steve

Knightfly, I promise, to dig with my hands to help folks find what they need to know, a moderator is not expected to answer all posts, but that don't mean I'm not lurking. And if time goes on and there is no turnover, I will find out something. I really want to be here, with the likes of you fine folks.
