Nice man,
Maybe push the bass down a little in the mids, and boost it in the low end. Just a little, I like the tone you have, but it is a little too present in the mix. I don't have an EQ on this computer, but it sound like something is missing at 3k until the harmony vocals come in. I would boost 3k on the lead vocal as well. To fill it out a little more.
Some fancy foot work with the EQ. |

Did you hard limit everything? Everything sounds loud. but well balanced. If you did maybe try it with a little less. If not, I'm crazy then. |

Sounding pretty good now. I think you laid back a bit on the HL, sounds a bit more dynamic. I wasn't trying to imply that you should not use, it just sounded like it was a bit to much before. |

Thanks Eric!
Yeah, I agree with you about the HL!
I still think the overall volume of the mix is a little bit low compared to the professional recordings.
What do you think?
What plugin can I use to get more volume, if needed?
Thanks |

Try any compressor, or limiter.
Set a compressor to a fairly high ratio though.
TBH, I don't worry about the overall volume of my recordings. There's more problems in mine than just volume, but hey.
You could just send it to a mastering studio, or be happy with music that has dynamics and isn't SLAMMING UP IN YOUR FACE ALL THE TIME and autotuned to hell and back. |

Compression can help. Hard limiting can as well just try different setting until it sounds best to you without loosing the overall quality that you put in your mix. I am by no means even a confidant amateur. I've just done that to my mix before. I think those mastering settings are better left to pro's at this point in my recording journey. |
