Been trying to get her to sing for a while. Its a cover of Weezers, "Say it aint so". She wanted to do it. I didnt know it and spent a few hours learning (somewhat) the song and laying down the tracks. She giggled through the song at points and the vocals are priceless. I'll keep this one forever. Enjoy. That is all recording is in a nutshell isn't it? Making memories, sometimes you pay and sometimes you get paid or not, but the memories remain. |

Does she realize how many thousands of people have already listened to her?? OMG! Although I think a bit too much proximity effect? I think she should win a prize. A year's supply of Auto-Tune. Yeah, that's the ticket. I'm sure that Britney and all the rest won that prize. Now you might be able to make back your investment on all that recording equipment?? I mean, put that girl to work!
Take 2

Autotune would fit the bill. Maybe a spliced multi-take vocal track would too. I got her to take the first step. I hope to keep it going. Her boyfriend is a good singer and he is helping with the effort. Everyone is mic shy at first. I was !! I realize I stink, so I dont care . But the autotune thing is good idea. It would get a hell of a workout in my studio. |
