If you would be so kind our new website http://www.acoustikmusik.com/ is up and running and I would appreciate any and all comments on it from the members of this board.
We also had both of our logos redesigned and they are also on the new web-page.
Thanks in advance for any ideas, comments or suggestions. |

A few things I noticed.
Compared to your old site (I have memories) this one conveys a more dungeonesque feeling, which detracts from the room with a view openness. So much black.
Somewhere along the way my mouse pointer stopped recognising your hyperlinks and making the pointer a little hand... I could still click your hyperlinks but I didn't know they were hyperlinks.
The website is too generic. I arrive, get all the info I need and leave without getting anything I can identify with you, stuck in my head. Last time I went through your links I remember being impressed with some of the hooks, your take on interior decorating for one.
Is it possible to contrast old with new? |

We made many of the changes suggested. Thanks for all the help and comments. The person that is doing this is NOT a professional web designer but IMHO he is very good at what he does. He just graduated from college with a degree in Art and Photography and History so he knows what he is doing he just lacks some experience at doing it in the professional arena. Give him a couple of years and he is going to be FANTASTIC.
The truthful comments you all gave were GREATLY appreciated.
Thanks to all who replied.
Any additional comments would also be welcome. |

Tom, maybe I missed it - But I don't see any reference to which RTA you have.
Sorry - Inside joke... Couldn't resist. Very nice. Very "Mac" looking. |

The inside joke is about another forum and a pest on that forum who was convinced that he could do a better job with cheap software and an RTA than a REAL mastering engineer with good monitors and a LOTS of experience. Hopefully the pest will NOT come here and find this forum. If he does BIGTREE will have to keep him at bay. The guy is a real PITA 2 times over.
I do have a couple of RTAs. Software and hardware based and I keep the clients busy looking at the flashing lights on the hardware one while I do their mastering. (trade secret don't tell ANYONE) opps I guess I just did. |

If I was a client, I think I'd like to have the RTA on even if I knew you weren't paying any attention to it. Might learn something from watching the output while listening and watching you work. |

Oh ok Tom. No probs mate.
Hey I have an old RTA I used in the mid-80's to sound balance & treat a recording area.
With that same goal in mind, I bght the RDsoftPlus sw to do the same.
Anyone use it or ? |
