I have to admit the manual doesn't tell you exactly what to connect where, but you should be able to figure it out after reading it.
AMX-140 manual
How it is connected depends on what sound interface you have, and what you want to do with it. |

Two cables needed. Both 1/4' to RCA.
Connected to the Tape out RCA plugs L/R on your mixer into the 1/4' L/R Analogue inputs on your card.
You can also do it with 1/4' patch cables. From the line outs or Aux sends.
Seriously, read the manuals... Do you have to hold someones hand when you cross the road or can you look for yourself? |

I said this before. On this page.
"Two cables needed. Both 1/4' to RCA.
Connected to the Tape out RCA plugs L/R on your mixer into the 1/4' L/R Analogue inputs on your card. "
You could use a stereo RCA cable, and two RCA to 1/4' TRS connectors... You need to connect the RCA TAPE OUT on your mixer to the 1/4' ANALOGUE LINE IN of your card.
Phone a friend maybe? |

stil, spend some money and get a usb or firewire interface for your computer. Most likely, your sound card will not handle the recording you're trying to do, so you should get a computer interface. I'm assuming you don't want to spend much money, and I'm guessing your computer may not have firewire so look into a USB interface.
Or, even easier, if you're just looking to record vocals, get a Snowball USB mic by Blue. |

He has an Emu0404. Whether it's USB or PCI he didn't say but it should be good enough for unbalanced I/O to the mixer.
Reading the manual should reveal this: output from one to input on the other. Do you need to know more than that? |
