While I like the more bandwidth limited & nostalgic flavor of the older microphone,, for some reason, you have a nasty oscillation on the first couple of songs around 6300 hertz and a secondary harmonic around 13,000 Hertz? Not sure what's going on there?
Yup, yup, I like the sound and mix much better on these remixed versions. Yeah, hard to deny the 58 does sound good. I can't help but say that I love 58's. The just those sound as authentic does the Sears microphone.

It was the Sears mic. Its 40 years old and caused all sorts of noise. The last two tracks, it was a noisy Bass channel. |

It is coming and going and the last half of first 2 songs I can't hear it as well. Thats why I asked seemed like it might have been one of the background vocal tracks gated or something. Guess I was wrong. To bad you cant eliminate it cause it has a nice sound when that noise isn't there. |
