Hello this is the first live mix from my new band called Suspended Sentence. im fairly new to mixing and mastering so I would appreciate any feedback on if it sounds right and what needs to be fixed.

Why should I? What makes you any different or more sonically desirable then the last 3 thousand first posters?
MP3, by the by, will not do a good representation of your work...so even IF you have good chops, who can really tell?

Airy...I feel airy. Open and airy...yea, usually thats the kind of room I like, especially after chili and sweet tea. |

Honestly, it sounds like a couple of loops thrown together. Its hard to critique "mixing and mastering" when there is no mixing or mastering involved.
Sure, some of us may use a drum machine or virtual instruments in a pinch, but this is over the top. I doubt there was a single microphone, preamp, or recording interface used anywhere on this song. |

GreySkulls? Is this true? Did you use Fruity Loops and pass it off as....real work? |

Rigging up a torrent, installing the crack, mashing some loops and enduring it for 30 minutes is real work these days, Space.
The whole thing with mics and preamps and stuff, it's all fake and for amateurs. |

Maybe I have too much protection on my browsers? I couldn't listen to nor download your song. Too much advertising stuff. Couldn't get past it. But from everybody else's description, it sounds as though your first effort wasn't much appreciated?
If it's samples & loops, you just need to get more up to speed with your software.
If you're setting up microphones and trying to legitimately record actual musicians playing actual music, you may want to simplify things? Remember, LESS IS MORE. So much so that I couldn't even listen to this?? Maybe it's pop up blockers? Maybe it's spam filters? Maybe I don't want to catch a communicable disease?
The only samples I've ever played with were by request from my doctor.
