Hey everyone,
I just got offered a job mixing sound for a movie trailer by someone that I have done lots of music work for. They are a very established director in the industry and say that I shouldn't have a problem with the skills that I have. I very much believe him if he says this, but I would like to do some studying ASAP to get ahead of the game. I have never done any significant mixing of dialogue and location sound and am looking for any tips that anyone has to make the transition from music to film.
Also, are there any great resources online for this type of knowledge? I have found a few good tutorials and articles, but nothing truly in depth.
I start work on this project this weekend so the sooner the better! Thanks in advance for any advice! Take care.
