Monitor Stand Build

Hi Guys.

I'm just about finished with my new Control Room, and I wanted to brag about it, but I thought it would be presumptious to just say" Here's my new CR. Lookit what I did". So, I found another way to show off. Rolling Eyes

I came across a good deal on a pair of KRK Rockits ($99/pr), but no place to set them. So, yesterday I had some scrap 3/4" birch ply laying around and I made a pair of stands for the Rockits. Thought I'd share the pics with ya'll.

The sketchup extraordinaire (goes by gullfo) @ JS drew a set that are pretty darn good, too! Low cost and heavy on the density/stability side.

Odd. My first monitor stands were concrete blocks covered with pillowcases. GMTA
