I have:
M-Audio Delta Hardware Recording Interface
Tube MP project series mic preamp
Sure SM57
Amp modeling processor
2 no name speakers and a receiver
A computer & software
Am I missing any pieces to the puzzle?
Should I get a small soundboard?
Better quality studio monitors?
A condenser mic?
An equalizer?
A compressor?
I'm trying to record guitar, bass and vocals in my room. My question is, what should I improve on other than obvious skill and practice? |

What do you mean by "a complete set-up"? Tell us what you aim to record and where you will be doing the recording and then we can suggest suitable gear. |

small room
single guitar and bass
keyboards
I bought a small soundboard.
Any advice on decent monitors? Should I dish out 500 plus, or should I go cheaper and spend money on other things like a condenser mic? |
