Hello,
I just joined but I found the site about a month ago by googling for drum micing techniques. I'll be starting a new project soon with a drummer friend and will have all the time I want to experiment with him. I wanted to try as many ideas as I could find and he's game. It might take me a year to try everything I have found! Anyway I love this site so far.

im austrian myself and just have build up a minimum setup to begin recording my musical effusions like trillion other people around the world, which may be the cause of that increase in site hits .

esi waveterminal 192m (2mic, 2 line input, 8 output interface)
2x sm57 (see im elite )

I was making myself a grilled cheese sandwich and just before I took a bite into it...right on the bread was "recording.org" burned into the sandwich, it was a sign from above. I sold it on ebay a week later for $1.00
but really I found this site from google searches. |

'Twas a google search that got me here. I was looking for a discussion on Logic Express, if I recall correctly. |

I'd say roughly two years? Long time reader, seldom a poster, and it was google who led me this way. I have come to respect this forum as an answer to many questions, and as a place to gain more knowledge often!
- Dave
PS - Anyone here knowledgeable about sites for professional online music colloboration, or viewpoints on it? I got drums. I got a Studio. I got an imagination. =) But I don't have enough material to read and see what the "market" is! Google isn't even being that helpful! |

I was looking up Recording forums and this one came up so I decided to check it out. I am interested in soaking up new information and internet forums are a great place to do just that. So much info and so little time. |
