For some reason I can't resist posting while slightly tanked
Here is an image of the soundproof door I recently made for my practice room. It really isn't a "door" though. It is really a part of the wall that is on hinges.

The door is not as beefy as it looks in the image. Any wood is not a full layer but just some trim for the seals. But I would say it is a truly ridiculous creation on hinges that was inspired by vault door construction.
Here are the layers from the image explained from left to right:
1) Wood trim to compress against seal
2) 1/2" sheetrock layer
3) Foam srtip resilient channel
4) 2x4 cavity filled with foam
5) sheetrock (compress against seal)/roofing roll/roofing roll/sheetrock layer
6) Wood trim to compress against seal
7) Wood trim just for clamp support
No real reason for this post other than showing what the soundproof door looks like...
