MLSSA is an old fashioned system using a full length ISA-card, so you have to stick it into an old computer.
It also works only under DOS, at least the older cards do.

Tried it.
I use a desktop with maudio audiophile usb sounddevice.
only get rubbish, and the computer tells stuff about clipping (even when I mute mic) and the impulse not being in place.

A light construction like a window has less sound transmission loss than a heavy wall.

When you have an uncorrelated signal like plain noise, I don't see how you can derive time information. Missing this is a step backwards, IMHO

How does this REW work?
I read about using pink noise and stuff, (because sweeps and mls sounds awkward) and that's really a step backward. ETF is bad enough by itself.

30 cm is often considered enough.
Placing speakers from the walls will increase LF combfiltering. |
