Ugh. I know you said "live off the floor", but in a room that shape and size, that is really a mud recipe.
I seriously suggest that you track it all, starting with the bass (via DI) and the drums. ... |

Neither. Use the channel direct outs (pre-EQ, pre-fader) if the live mixer has them, or, if not, the insert sends.
If you use the insert sends, you will need correctly-wired looms with the TRS plu ... |

How would you suggest to do this then?
to get the absolute best sound quality, I mean.
(Also how do you maintain consistency with your levels from mix 1 to mix 2.)
It's the old-fashioned analogue ... |

I bet it's only 100 records; somebody forgot to carry a 1.
Nah, it's a game of Chinese Whispers. There's actually a database with 100,000 records that needs to be transferred to another computer. |

So lets say I recorded 16 tracks into my DAW.
I then use my DAW to automate the volume level changes on each track (since there are no motorized faders and I don't want to have to ride the faders ... |

Thanks Boswell,
Are the sends and returns balanced or unbalanced?
It was 1991 last time I laid hands on a SW console.
Well, that's probably a lot later than my experience with one! I really don ... |

It's not without its quirks, and it really is limited ... |

I would not rely on the "first-click" method of extracting a signal fr ... |

| The problem here is that you are trying to get a low-spec mixer to do the job of a multi-channel pre-amp. Your Delta 66 is a perfectly respectable 4-channel line-input computer interface, and what you ... |
